Since I came to America, everything has been going on very well. My university is located in St. Louis, a city in the Missouri State. People living here are very kind and friendly, and the nature environment is extremely good——pure water in the river and the azure sky. The famous Mississippi river goes across this old city. It’s very beautiful. While walking around, we can see squirrels running besides us. This scene is so amazing that you may not be able to imagine. It is really great! Located in the center of the city, Gateway represents that the United States started to develop the West. It was built in 1966, and is the landmark building of this city. However, although I have made many friends here, I still quite miss you, our parents, our elder brother and sister –in-law, and my little niece.
I know that you have been longing for a traditionally western Christmas. So this time I invited you and our parents to America during the Christmas holiday for traveling and a special family reunion. Unfortunately, our parents told me that they were too busy with their work to come to America. I thought it was going to fail to have this family reunion. But I became very happy after hearing that you can come. I am thinking about giving you a really wonderful trip, including taking a look at the places where I study and live, meeting some of my friends in America, having a tour of local famous sights and beautiful scenes, and your favorite thing to do-going shopping.
Because the duration of your trip is very short, I made the following basic travel plan. Could you check whether it is suitable for you? I hope it won’t make you feel tired. The whole expense is supposed to be controlled within ten thousand dollars.
The First week, arrive at Chicago and take a tour of the highest mansion of the United
States-the Sears Tower, the most beautiful district of the city-the Michigan Blvd, the old and historical construction-the Water Tower, and the Lincoln Park just next to the lake. The second week, come back to St. Louis, then visit the St. Louis University where I am
